Bengaluru: 14-year-old boy fatally knocked down by truck

According to the police, the driver was arrested and the vehicle has been seized.
The deceased has been identified as Tarun, son of Ramesh and Jayamma. He was studying in 9th standard at a school near his house.

Bengaluru: A 14-year-old boy, who was playing in front of his house, died on the spot after being knocked down by a BBMP water tanker. The incident occurred at Andhrahalli in Byadarahalli police station limits on the city outskirts on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Tarun, son of Ramesh and Jayamma. He was studying in 9th standard at a school near his house.

 

According to the police, the driver was arrested and the vehicle has been seized. The tanker was used to supply water to houses in the area. Byadarahalli police have registered a case.
