The colony is christened after former Rajya Sabha member M.V. Bhadram, whose status is seen at the spacious community hall.

The MV Bhadram Community Hall hosts most of the social gathering or activity of Sector-VI and bonds the residents.

With the active cooperation of each other, the residents are able to solve various civic issues and also attributing to the colony’s development, but there are still some civic issues inconveniencing the residents.

Residents’ Welfare Association secretary P. Satyarao said the condition of the colony roads have deteriorated and need the attention of the civic body. He also pointed out about growing parking congestion in the area.

“As some incidents of chain snatching witnessed recently, modern policing should be done to check such crimes and we are planning to install CCTV cameras at major junctions,” said Mr Satyarao.

The spaces adjacent to the community hall and the Gandhi Park need to be developed with required facilities. “We, the residents have to collect one-third of the budget required to develop the park as per civic body rule. We are trying our best to put up the money and develop the park,” he said.

The residents are however happy over the cleanliness and sanitation maintained by GVMC.

The youngsters of the colony said the empty spaces were being developed as parks and they are not allowed to play cricket or other games.
