No NEET for agriculture, vet admissions: Supreme Court

Many prospective agriculture and veterinary students are in dilemma as to how the government would go ahead with their admissions.

Visakhapatnam: The National Eligibility and Entrance Test issue refuses to die down with the Supreme Court verdict putting a question mark over the admissions of agriculture, horticulture and veterinary seats of the state.

As the court has made Neet exam mandatory for admissions to medical and dental courses, the state government has withheld Eamcet medical results, intended to be released on Monday.

Students, who want to get admission into the agriculture and veterinary courses, appear for the EAMCET medical exam and based on their ranks, they are given admission into various courses.

But now with EAMCET medical results being withheld, many prospective agriculture and veterinary students are in dilemma as to how the government would go ahead with their admissions.
