YSRC opens state office in Vijayawada

Mr Jagan Reddy will formally inaugurate it again after all the interior works are complete.

Vijayawada: The YSRC state office was inaugurated on the Bandar Road here on Tuesday. Prayers of all religions were offered on the occasion. The puja was performed at 6 pm, the auspicious time suggested for the inaugural. However, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy will formally inaugurate the office after all the interior works are completed, the party leaders said.

Party senior leaders Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Botsa Satyanarayana, party district affairs in-charge Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Krishna and Guntur district YSRC presidents K. Pardha Saradhi and Marri Rajasekhar, MP Y.V. Subba Reddy, party city president Vellampalli Sreenivas and other leaders Jogi Ramesh and Meruga Nagarjuna were also present.

Meanwhile, the YSRC has decided to hold an important meeting on October 11 to fine tune the proposed padayatra of party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Party MPs, MLAs, MLCs, district unit presidents, observers and coordinators, in-charges of the Assembly constituencies will attend the meet. Party sources said that invitations have already been extended to all the party leaders.

Mr. Reddy’s padayatra will begin on Nov. 2 and cover the length and breadth of the state. Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijaysai Reddy said the padayatra and the future programmes of the party, especially in the wake of the party's massive outreach initiative 'YSR Kutumbam' will enable the party get close to the people. During YSR Kutumbam, 75 lakh people gave missed calls to the party leadership seeking membership.
