All set for N Chandrababu Naidu's Nellore visit today

Heavy vehicles bound for Vijayawada on the National Highway will be stopped at Manubolu from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday.

NELLORE: Festive atmosphere is prevailing at NTR Housing Colony in Venkateswarapuram, on the banks of Penna River as the beneficiaries are all set to occupy the houses after Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the colony, during his visit to Nellore on Saturday.

As many as 17,117 houses have been built across Nellore district under the Housing For All scheme. While 14,116 houses are built in rural areas, 3,001 houses have been constructed in the urban areas of the district.

Many beneficiaries have been gearing up to perform house warming ceremony to coincide with the inauguration of the housing colonies by the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, the police department has deployed a strong force of 1,922 police personnel for the security arrangements, ahead of the Chief Minister's visit.

The force includes three additional SPs, 13 DSPs, 42 circle inspectors, 109 sub-inspectors, 275 head constables and ASIs and 725 constables.

Heavy vehicles bound for Vijayawada on the National Highway will be stopped at Manubolu from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday.

Similarly, heavy vehicles bound for Chennai will be halted near Kavali. Other vehicles plying on the National Highway will have to pass through Venkates-warapuram bridge, Mini Bypass road and Ayyappa Gudi Flyover.
