Kolkata: Two people died and at least 12 were injured after the Capital Express derailed in Alipirduar in West Bengal around 9 pm on Tuesday.

According to the Northeast Frontier Railway, the engine and the coach adjacent to it derailed.
Train derailments have become frequent of late. Two weeks ago, 14 coaches of the Indore-Patna express ran off the tracks near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, killing over 140 people.
