Chevireddy complains against Chandrababu Naidu

Chandragiri MLA files a case against Naidu for not fulfilling poll promises.

Tirupati: Chandragiri legislator Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has lodged a complaint against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Chandragiri police station on Monday for failing to fulfil the promises he made to people at the time of the elections. Referring to a call given by YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to party leaders to complain against the CM in all the police stations in the state on June 9, he said that he gave the complaint in advance on Monday in view of his trip to Singapore on Tuesday.

Mr Bhaskar Reddy said that the ruling party has totally ignored the promises they made in their election manifesto while referring to poor implementation of loan waiver scheme pertaining to farmers and self-help groups (SHGs). He alleged that there was hardly any move to implement the unemployed allowance of Rs 2,000 and one job each family. Rebuking the CM for spending ill-gotten money of Rs 600 Cr to buy YSR Congress legislators, he accused him for failing to secure special status to AP.

Elsewhere, former minister and YSR Congress legislator Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy pulled up TD leaders for their outburst against Jagan for his comments on Chandrababu Naidu. He called upon the YSRC leaders to file cases against the CM in the police stations at every mandal headquarters for failing to fulfil the promises he made to the public. Predicting public outrage against the CM, he advised Naidu to put down papers to save his reputation.
