Madras High Court to soon get three judges from other states

According to sources in the registry, the Union law ministry has sent a communication to this effect.

Chennai: The Madras high court will soon get three judges from other states.
Justice Huluvadi G. Ramesh of Allahabad high court, Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao of Andhra Pradesh high court and Justice Rajiv Shakdher of Delhi high court have been transferred to Madras high court.

According to sources in the registry, the Union law ministry has sent a communication to this effect. With the latest transfer, the total number of judges will increase to 37 as against the sanctioned strength of 75. Born on May 20, 1957, Justice Huluvadi G. Ramesh enrolled as an advocate on March 12, 1981. He was appointed as a district judge on February 2, 1993. He was appointed as an additional judge of Karnataka high court on September 8, 2003 and became a permanent judge on September 24, 2004. He was transferred to Allahabad high court on February 16, 2015.

Hailing from Tanuku of West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao enrolled as an advocate on August 31, 1978. He was appointed as additional judge of Andhra Pradesh high court on September 11, 2006, and made a permanent judge on April 10, 2008. Born on October 19, 1962, Justice Rajiv Shakdher, completed his B.Com from Delhi University.
