Yogi Adityanath promises development

He said the Congress-TD and TRS-MIM only want to deceive the people of Telangana for their self-gain.

WARANGAL: Had the governments thought about the people and worked for their welfare post-independence, Telangana, which is so rich in mineral resources would not be so backward today and the people would be dwelling in prosperity, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Yogi Adityanath, addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Ms Keerthi Reddy in Bhupalapalli.

Mr Adityanath said he was confident that the BJP would form the government in Telangana after the polls on December 7. The UP CM said he has been touring all the poll-bound states and was sure that the BJP would form the government in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

He said the Congress-TD and TRS-MIM only want to deceive the people of Telangana for their self-gain. “These people have done nothing for the benefit of the people here,” he noted.

He added, “The BJP works with the only agenda of bringing development to the doorsteps of the people. After BJP formed the government in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced many welfare and development schemes. LPG connection was given to eight crore women. Two crore families got jobs. Four crore families got free electricity. The BJP government, in the past four years, has worked for the people unmindful of the caste, creed or religion they belonged to.”

Mr Adityanath asked the people to vote for the BJP to take Telangana on a development path. He appealed to the people to vote in large numbers and give party candidate Keerthi Reddy a huge majority.
