Hyderabad: Congress ex-MPs slammed Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for not meeting UPA Presidential candidate Meira Kumar, who had sought his appointment on Monday.
“Is it the tradition of Telangana? Is it the way you (CM) deal with a woman that too a dalit leader,” former MP V. Hanumantha Rao said. Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav asked Cong-ress workers to bring pressure on TRS legislators and MPs to vote in favour of Ms Kumar. If needed, they should gherao the TRS leaders, he said.
