ANANTAPUR: Three persons were killed and four others suffered serious injuries when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus hit a truck loaded with LPG cylinders near Dhone rural police station jurisdiction in Dhone, Kurnool district during the wee hours of Monday.
Sources said that the RTC bus was on its way towards Hyd-erabad from Benga-luru when it hit the truck. Gas cylinders fell on the road after the truck overturned due to the impact of the collision.
Locals feared that there the chances of the cylinder bursting and alerted the police and fire departments. Bodies of three persons were shifted to Dhone hospital for postmortem.
