Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner M. Dana Kishore, during a convergence meeting held at Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board headquarters in Khairatabad on Saturday emphasised on the need for improving fire safety measures at venues of exhibitions.
Citing the recent fire accident at Numaish in Nampally, he instructed water board officials to provide water to stalls set up in exhibitions in the city as preventive measure for fire accidents. “Electricity officials must inspect exhibition sites and ensure that the power source is set up as per norms,” he added.
