Telangana government to take call on land issues

It has been decided to publish the details of the information on the website after obtaining necessary permission from the government.

Hyderabad: In a move to curb irregularities on land issues, the Telangana municipal administration and urban development department has decided to place all disputes on government and private owned vacant lands in GHMC limits before the government for a decision.

This follows after a lot of grievances were received at Hyderabad Collector’s office pertaining to land disputes.

It has been decided to publish the details of the information on the website after obtaining necessary permission from the government.

With regard to nala widening, 1,002 unauthorised constructions were identified on nalas. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, with the help of Revenue department and the police, will remove these constructions in a phased manner.

Also, Rs 230 crore was sanctioned by the government for the widening of nalas.

The GHMC is planning to provide medicinal plants to citizens as part of Haritha Haaram programme.

It will take up plantation in open places and also fix responsibility for its maintenance.

It has also decided to paste radium stickers on metro rail pillars, which are posing danger to the citizens, to curb accidents.

The 373 hotels situated from Paradise to Lakdikapul Junction have been inspected. Nearly, 208 hotels were found throwing garbage waste in nalas and Rs 16,77,770 was collected by imposing fine.
