Hyderabad: There are many ways to find a low-priced ticket and save a few rupees. Regular passengers suggest that travellers first compare tariffs on travel websites and Google.
Mr Bojjam Rana Pratap, a techie from Hyderabad, said that mobile wallets and travel websites provide cash back and discount offers. “If you persist with a single travel website or mobile wallet, you will get reward points that can be converted into cash during the next booking, or you will get coupons which provide discount on the next flight within a certain period,” he said.
Airlines offer coupon codes on their websites. Before booking the tickets, passengers should look for coupon codes which can get them discounts, Mr Pratap said.
Mr Chintala Naveen, a network engineer, said,“The ads on social media networking sites are sometimes genuine. But passengers should understand them.”
“Suppose an airline offers a Rs 876 ticket for a Bengaluru-Hyderabad flight. The passenger should book the same route. It will not be applicable on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru route,” he said.
