AP: ACB court sends Rs 800 crore babu to remand

Officials had found assets whose market value was about Rs 800 crore.

KAKINADA: Deputy transport commissioner A. Mohan, who was raided on Thursday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for illegally amassing wealth, was produced before the ACB court, remanded to 14 days and sent to the Challapalli jail.

ACB Central Investigation Team DSP A. Ramadevi said that investigation and searches were going on in the case.

She said that four bank lockers were yet to be traced. She requested people who had information on the assets Mohan to the ACB on Phone No, 8332971044.
“The state government will not spare anybody if they take bribes,” said Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa.
