Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl's blood-stained body was found hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh’s Bharaich district. The deceased was allegedly raped and murdered when she had gone to a field in the village to attend nature’s call.
According to the police, the family members of the deceased said that the girl went out to the field to relieve herself. As she didn’t come back after a long time, the brothers of the girl approached their grandfather, who was fast asleep. After being apprised of the girl’s absence, the grandfather along with other family members rushed to the field where they found her body hanging from a tree. The body was soaked in blood and was immediately sent to the police for a postmortem.
The girl’s father has filed a complaint with the Nanpara police against three boys of the same village. The police have initiated a probe into the case, but in vain as the perpetrators are still missing. However, efforts are being made to nab them.
