Honour killing: Naresh's mobile phone thrown away by suspects

In order to erase all evidence, the suspects took Naresh's mobile phone to Moula Ali railway station, damaged it and threw it away.

Hyderabad: Three weeks after 23-year-old Amboji Naresh, who had married upper caste girl T. Swathi, went missing from Bhongir, Rachakonda police found that Swathi’s father T. Srinivas Reddy and his nephew Nalla Sathi Reddy had murdered him, burnt his body, and disposed the ashes in Musi River.

“While Naresh was trying to argue with Sathi, Srinivas Reddy hit Naresh with a tractor rod on his neck. Naresh died on the spot. Both the suspects then gathered some husk, put the body on top and lit a fire. As they could not burn the body fully, they bought five litres of petrol from Athmakur, and burnt the body again till it turned into ashes," said the Commissioner. Next day morning, Reddy collected the ashes and threw it into the Musi River.

In order to erase all evidence, the suspects took Naresh’s mobile phone to Moula Ali railway station, damaged it and threw it away. The police is trying to find the phone.
