A 40-year-old teacher of a government primary school in Bakori area here was today arrested on charges of raping three of his minor girl students.
Meerut: An 8-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man at Lisari Gate area of the district in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.
The minor was playing with her cousin outside her house on Monday evening when the accused, believed to be a man in his 40s, approached her. He lured the girl to a nearby warehouse where he allegedly raped her, police said.
An FIR was lodged against an unidentified person following the medical examination of the girl.
Three persons have been taken into custody in connection with the case and are being interrogated, police said.
