Tollywood actor Jr NTR's admirer' kills power star Pawan Kalyan's fan

The victim was all set to go to the United States in two months for higher studies.

Tirupati: Actor Pawan Kalyan on Thursday met the family of his fan, who was killed by a supporter of NTR Jr after a minor argument in Kolar, Karnataka.

The victim — 24-year-old engineering graduate Vinod Royal — was all set to go to the US in two months for higher studies. However, his visit to Kolar changed his life.

Vinod, a die-hard fan of actor Pawan Kalyan and an activist of the actor’s Jana Sena, went to Kolar to attend an organ donation drive, which was inaugurated by actor Suman.

During the event on August 21, Vinod raised slogans in support of Pawan Kalyan, angering the supporters of actor NTR Jr. Sunil, a NTR Jr fan, got into an argument with Vinod.

Though other guests present at the event tried to calmed them down, both of them fought again in the night at a hotel.

During the scuffle, Sunil’s friend Akshay Kumar stabbed Vinod. Though Sunil and his friends rushed Vinod to a nearby hospital, doctors declared him brou-ght dead.

Vinod’s mother Vedavathi believes that some of his friends from Karnataka intentionally had an altercation with my son as they were jealous of him for getting US visa.

Vinod’s father Venkatesh said only one accused Akshay Kumar had been booked and two other, Sunil and Trinath, who were left by the Kolar police.

Pawan Kalyan assures help to Victim’s family

Actor Pawan Kalyan on Thursday met the family of his fan Vinod Royal, who was killed on August 21 by a supporter of NTR Jr in Kolar, Karnataka, and assured to help the bereaved family.

Pawan Kalyan, who came on a special flight from Hyderabad, met the victim’s family and consoled them.

Speaking to the media, the actor said, “Killing in the name of fandom is wrong. It’s not just about my fans, it can be about fans of any actor. The unlimited admiration of actors have brought a family on the roads today. Nobody should indulge in such type of violence.”

He demanded severely punishment for all who were involved in Vinod’s murder.
