Bandi Sanjay asked to appear before SIT on March 24

Hyderabad: The special investigation team (SIT) of the city police investigating the TSPSC question paper leak served a notice to BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar seeking evidence over his allegations that 50 candidates qualified from one mandal of Jagtial district, which included BRS leaders’ relative.

Previously, TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy was also issued a notice over his allegations in the case against IT minister K.T. Rama Rao and his personal assistant.

Sanjay was asked to appear before the SIT in person on March 24, Friday, along with the evidence.

“Since these statements made the SIT believe them to be true, you are summoned to appear before the SIT with evidence/things alleged to have been and being received by you,” said the notice signed by ACP SIT P. Venkateshwarlu, who is also the investigating officer in the case.

The notice was pasted at his Jubilee Hills residence on Tuesday.
