Hyderabad: Six held for stealing phones

Hyderabad: The police arrested two engineering students and four others on Monday for alleged involvement in 12 cases of theft in old city. The gang first stole parked bikes and using the bikes they snatched mobile phones, said DCP V. Satyanarayana. Police also seized seven bikes, one laptop, one tab and 10 mobile phones.

The arrested men are gang leader Gyaneshwar Reddy, 20, a student from AVN Engineering College, Md, Sadiq 20, a III year engineering student from TKR Engineering College, Badal Bhimraj, 19, an Intermediate dropout, Saikumar, 19, a bike mechanic, Suresh, 21, a milk vendor and M. Ganesh 18.
