Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police is now collecting evidence against Bollywood film producer Morani.
Police found the victim who hailed from Hyderabad had gone to Mumbai after finishing studies with plans to enter the modelling industry. She met Kirani Morani’s daughter, and started to visit their home frequently.
Later, she fell in Morani’s trap who promised to marry her. After this she and Morani travelled to Hyderabad where they stayed in hotels and at the Ramoji Film City where she was sexually assaulted. Police said that since the incident happened a year ago, evidence had to be collected from where the victim claims she was assaulted. An official said that Morani did not offer any role in the movie to trap her.
The victim, a 24-year-old BBA graduate, lodged a complaint with Hayathnagar police alleging that she was sexually assaulted on by Kiran Morani in Mumbai and Hyderabad after promising marriage.
