Nizamabad: In a gruesome incident, a mentally unstable man is suspected to have brutally axed his 15-year-old daughter to death at Endrial village of Tadwai mandal in Kamareddy district. The victim, identified as Sreeja, is a student of Class X in Tadwai. Sayavva, mother of Sreeja found her daughter wrapped in blanket on Wednesday morning. She thought that the girl was still asleep and tried to wake her up, before realising that she had been murdered.
Her husband and the girl’s father Balraj, alias Balaiah, is absconding. The girl was still in school uniform giving rise to suspicion that the murder might have been committed on Tuesday evening. Speaking to newsmen, Sayavva said that she went to agriculture fields and returned in the early hours of Wednesday. Kamareddy SP N. Swetha visited the scene of the crime on Wednesday. Sadashivanagar inspector Nagaraju, Tadwai SI Anjaiah rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem. Tadwai police registered a case.
