Hyderabad: A 19-year-old man was jailed for flashing his private parts in the public at Chandanagar. The Cyberabad She Teams also apprehended 65 others for harassing and misbehaving with women during the last fortnight.
According to the Cyberabad police, Bolini Basanth, a labourer working at an under-construction building in Serilingampally, was flashing his private parts to the women living in the neighbouring apartments regularly and was making objectionable gestures. Following a complaint, he was apprehended by the She Teams and was handed over to the Chandanagar police, who arrested and remanded him to custody.
In another case, a 16-year-old boy, studying intermediate first year, who was making WhatsApp video calls to a housewife posing naked in the bathroom by covering his face, was traced and apprehended by the She Teams following a complaint from the victim. The boy was apprehended and handed over to the Raidurgam police and was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
