Hyderabad: One person died and another sustained injuries in a ghastly road accident at Abdullapurmet on Sunday evening. According to the police, the car was travelling at a super speed when it rammed into a median. It was flung into the air and it fell on the other side of the road, where it somersaulted several times before halting. One person died, while the second person is reported to be critically injured.
According to the police, Satyanrayana (32) of Ismailkhanguda and Rajesh (27) of Kareemguda in Ghatkesar were heading towards Ghatkesar via Peddamberpet on the Outer Ring Road. When the car (TS 08 FX 4556) crossed the Balijaguda bridge after the toll-plaza, it vroomed at a super high speed and rammed into the median. The duo was critically injured and were rushed to a private hospital in an ambulance. Satynarayana died while undergoing treatment.
