Hyderabad: Four persons including a three-year-old child travelling in an autorickshaw were killed in an accident at Mahbubnagar on Thursday. Police said the mishap occurred when a speeding RTC bus hit the autorickshaw the victims were travelling. The deceased are Anjamma, 50, Laxmamma, 55, Syed Khaja, 40 and Sireesha, 3. Police said the autorickshaw was carrying nine persons at the time of the incident.
Three passengers were killed on the spot while another person died later. Other five persons are undergoing treatment and are said to be out of danger. The bus driver was taken into custody. A case for causing death through negligence was registered.
