Delhi college student dies after being thrashed by classmates

A case of murder was registered against the attackers who have been absconding after the incident.

Greater Noida: A 12th standard student died at a hospital on Friday after he was allegedly thrashed by his classmates in Jewar area near here, following which four persons were booked in a murder case, police said.

Bhim Singh, a resident of Nimka village, has complained alleging that his son Nakul was attacked with sticks by four of his classmates on Tuesday while he was returning from school, Jewar DSP Dilip Singh said.

Nakul was critically injured and fell unconscious in the alleged attack and was rushed to Kailash hospital in Jewar but later referred to Noida where he died on Friday, he said.

Based on the complaint a case of murder was registered against Akash, Sonu and two others and hunt is on for them as they have been absconding after the incident.
