Popular Front of India alleges police inaction in Faisal murder

The police had arrested 11 RSS workers so far in connection with the death of the neo-convert in Kodinhi last month.

MALAPPURAM: Popular Front of India (PFI) district committee would conduct a march to the office of the district police chief with a slew of demands regarding the Pullani Faisal murder investigation. They alleged inaction on the part of the police in arresting the prime accused RSS leader who was still absconding. They also asked the police chief to change the investigating officer and initiate legal action against the management of Saraswathi Vidyaniketan School in Melepuram near Kodinhi for misusing the institution for the murder conspiracy and attempting to create communal tension in the area.

The police had arrested 11 RSS workers so far in connection with the death of the neo-convert in Kodinhi last month. The First Class Magistrate Court, Parappanangadi, had on Tuesday, rejected the bail plea of eight of them. According to the police, three more RSS workers including a top functionary, are
at large.
