ISIS operatives arrested by NIA in Hyderabad had visited Ajmer Sharif Dargah

The investigation will explore if the duo went to procure arms and ammunition, or if they were conducting a recce to attack Ajmer.

Hyderabad: Officials from National Investigation Agency are now probing what the two ISIS suspects, arrested in Hyderabad recently, were up to when they visited the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan.

Sources said Ibrahim Yazdani and Habeeb had visited Ajmer in the second week of June and had stayed there for five days. The NIA team has now taken the duo back to Ajmer to collect more evidence.

According to officials, Ibrahim and Habeeb visited Ajmer on June 10 and returned here on June 14. While there, they stayed at a hotel.

The investigation will explore if the duo went to procure arms and ammunition, or if they were conducting a recce to attack Ajmer.
