Bengaluru: Within hours after a school girl and another woman were accosted by a pervert, the Bengaluru City police have nabbed him and booked under various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and IPC. Police said the arrested accused, Manikanta (22), accosted a school girl who was heading home, and allegedly attempted to molest her. They further added that the accused, who seems to be a marijuana addict, accosted the girl, asking her: “If you don’t mind, can I hug you?” The girl got scared and raised an alarm and soon the public gathered, but the accused fled. Following his arrest, investigation revealed that the accused had repeated the same incident earlier on Tuesday with a woman.
