Hyderabad: A gym instructor was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his house at DD Colony in Amberpet on Saturday. I. Sai Prasanna Kumar, 36, who runs a gym in his neighbourhood, collapsed in his house early in the morning. Although he was rushed to hospital he was declared dead by the doctors there.
Forensic doctors told the police that a heart attack is suspected, but have not confirmed the cause of death yet. According to his family, Sai Prasanna had fever two days ago and had taken medicine for that, but was generally healthy.
Amberpet police officials are investigating if Sai Prasanna Kumar had consumed steroids as part of his training routine in the past as that can lead to organ failure. “Nothing has been confirmed so far. The forensic report would reveal the real cause of death. We have booked a case of suspicious death and has launched an investigation,” said an official of Amberpet police station.
