GUNTUR: The students led by Students Federation of India staged a dharna at four roads junction centre at Krosuru in Guntur district on Tuesday demanding stern action against a teacher of AP Gurukul School. The SFI leaders and students alleged sexual harassment of girl students by science teacher Ch. Vidyasagar working in the AP Gurukul School at Krosuru. SFI leaders V. Vinay and D. Kasi alleged that Viyasagar earlier also sexually abused the girl students of AP Gurukul School and victim students informed their parents and they warned Vidyasagar to shun the abuses.
Recently, the science teacher once again started sexually harassing the girl students in the name of science lessons. So the girl students once again informed their parents. The angry parents rushed to the school on Tuesday to teach a befitting lesson to Vidyasagar but in vain as they did not find the teacher. The SFI leaders rushed to the school and complained against the teacher.
They further squatted on the four road junction centre and staged a dharna demanding stern action against the teacher. The SFI leaders with students lodged a complaint in Krosuru police station and further submitted complaints to tahsildar and other officials. Krosuru ASI, J. Adam said that the police received a complaint and started investigation.
