Katta Rohith, the student from Narsimha Reddy Engineering College who attacked his classmate over a Whatsapp argument was arrested by Petbasheerabad police on Monday.
Hyderabad: Based on a tip-off, eleven persons playing cards and three persons smoking hookah in a farmhouse located in Kothur were arrested during raids by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) in the early hours on Sunday.
All the apprehended persons are natives of Chanchalguda and are distant relatives. Around two years back, the farmhouse owner was booked for manufacturing oil from animal fat and bones. The accused and the seized material were handed over to the Kothur police station for further inquiry. "A case is registered and an investigation is on," said Mr A. Srisailam, SI of Kothur police station.
