Hyderabad: The editor of Pidikili, a local monthly magazine, has approached the SHRC alleging that he was threatened by some people for publishing an article on Hayathnagar TRS corporator Tirumal Reddy. He said that he received threat messages on Facebook.
Chamakura Raju, the chief editor of Pidikili, published an article in July titled Mahanagaramlo Maya Corporator on TRS corporator Sama Tirumal Reddy. Mr Raju said that he put the article on his FB page too.
Reacting to it one Buttemgari Madhav Reddy posted a comment saying that Mr Raju would be beheaded if the allegations were not proved. Mr Raju lodged a complaint with LB Nagar police station.
Meanwhile, Hayathnagar corporator Tirumal Reddy denied knowing Buttemgari Madhav Reddy, who threatened Raju on Chamakura Raju's facebook page.
" I never knew anyone with that name and I dont have any connection with his comments also." he said
