BENGALURU: A 30-year-old woman committed suicide at her PG accommodation in BTM Layout on Saturday night in Mico Layout police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as, Faibeena, a native of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. She had recently finished hotel management course and got a job last month in the city and moved to a PG in BTM Layout 2nd stage.
According to the police, on Saturday night she finished her dinner and locked herself inside her room. When her roommates tried to enter they found it was locked from inside.
They knocked the door and there was no response and when one of them peeped through a window and she was found hanging from the ceiling. The police did not find any suicide note in her room and the reason behind the suicide is being investigated.
The Mico Layout police have registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
