Hyderabad: A man from the Old City was booked under a petty case for allegedly confining two teenage boys and beating them up in Mailardevpally when they refused to buy cigarettes for him.
The man, identified as Hassan Hamza, was previously involved in a fake currency case in Kalapathar, along with other cases, said Inspector of Mailardevpally N. Sathaiah Goud.
The inspector said the suspect was booked under a petty case under CP (City Police) Act and was arrested, adding that police also seized daggers from his possession.
