Boy shares touching experience about taking a street kid to a restaurant

He talked to the little boy named Deepak and took him to a restaurant in Colaba.

Mumbai: As global reports point out increasing economic inequality in India, shocking prejudices have been visible in several incidents like one in Kolkata where a woman’s driver was denied entry in a plush restaurant due to his clothes.

When it comes to street kids, the most common reaction people have is either ignoring them or leaving them with some money, and no one really takes time out to talk to these children and understand their lives, which are far from privileges a section of society has.

But a boy in Mumbai felt differently when he spotted a child named Deepak in Colaba and decided to talk to him. When Deepak opened up to Sarang, he took him to a restaurant in the area, since the child said he always wondered how things are inside.

In his Facebook post, Sarang narrates how excited Deepak was to see the washroom and kept splashing water on himself when he took him inside to wash hands. He also mentioned how the little boy’s happiness gave him joy that concerts or fancy cars couldn’t.
