Watch: Poor zookeeper caught up in a boxing match with angry kangaroo
A certain zoo probably needs its staff to be trained in the defence arts apart from caring for its inhabitants. A shocking video of a kangaroo throwing several punches at its keeper has surfaced online. The footage shows the enormous animal adamant on attacking the male worker who is desperately trying to avoid its blows.
People behind the camera are heard shouting in alarm as the aggressive animal hits the man with its paws. A child can be heard laughing and describing the scary scenario as ‘kangaroo versus man’ but is quickly told off by an adult. Apparently kangaroos ‘box’ in an act of self defence and can even disembowel an opponent.
Towards the end of the short clip, the keeper is seen pleading to the crowd for help. The unsettling video has been viewed more than 14,000 times ever since it was first uploaded on YouTube.
