These beautiful sisters were once brothers!

The two are a constant source of support for each other.

The O’Herlihy siblings loved dressing up in skirts and playing with dolls ever since they were little yet they never dared confess to anyone - not even to each other - about their doubts regarding their gender. But now as grown-ups not only have both of them come out clean about their struggles but are also living as women. Jamie, 23, who kept her birth name, and Chloe, 20, who used to be known as Daniel, confess that they’re glad to be able to help each other while transitioning.

Jamie, who works as a bartender in Dublin, says, “We had always been in it together from the start but we just didn’t realise. I don’t feel either of us has influenced the other, we were born this way. But I do think it’s amazing that we’re on this journey together. Chloe is my greatest supporter and doing it together has helped us both,” reports the Daily Mail.

“It’s weird that we were both going through exactly the same thing and having the same thoughts about being transgender but just not talking to each other,” Chloe, a hairdressing student, admits.

Both the sisters suffered from anxiety and depression because of having to silently deal with their gender identity issues. However, they finally disclosed their true feelings to each other last August before coming out as transgender to their friends and family.
