Watch: Cat's amusing reaction to horror movie

The clip begins with nine-month-old Topegi, a Tabby-Bengal mix kitten, watching a nail-biting scene from the movie 'Psycho'.

Apparently classic horror movies can manage to terrify not just people but cats as well. A video that went viral recently shows a tiny kitten scared out of its wits while watching Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 movie 'Psycho'.

The clip begins with nine-month-old Topegi, a Tabby-Bengal mix kitten, watching a nail-biting scene from the movie with a transfixed expression on its face, reports the Daily Mail. Reportedly, the movie scene is about that crucial moment when character Lila Crane discovers the mummified skeleton of Norma Bates sitting in a rocking chair.

Poor Topegi’s eyes dart from left to right; making it look like it can’t handle the suspense any more. The cute kitten looks even more visibly tensed when the dramatic music score reaches a crescendo and cowers. Finally, when Lila lets out a chilling scream when discovering Mrs. Bates body, the traumatized cat leaps in the air and simply disappears out of sight.
