A woman in Thailand may be mentally scarred for life after witnessing her pet dog being swallowed by an enormous python at her home. Klomphan Khiewwan, a resident of the Thai provice of Pathum Thani, had come downstairs after hearing some noises at around 3am to find her pooch between the jaws of a ravenous 6-metre-long snake.
She quickly called a volunteer rescue service for help but her beloved Fino had already died by that time due to the serpent’s vice-like grip, according to Coconut News, Bangkok. When the volunteers arrived, the snake spat out the half-eaten dog and tried to escape.
Luckily the python was captured and later released back into the wild. We pray that it doesn’t target anybody’s beloved pet again in the future.
