Sometimes the oddest of things happen with our pets. Take for instance this little girl who was worried sick that her pet hamster was not moving. But when she took it to the vet, she got the shock of her life!
According to a series of text messages shared on twitter, the little rodent’s anxious owner had become concerned because her furry friend had not moved for days.
Apparently the hamster was sat at the edge of the cage and would not do anything. Baffled, the girl took her pet to the vet where a student animal doctor gave it the once over. When asked if anything had happened which might have caused this odd behaviour the little girl revealed the hamster had "escaped for a bit" but was found under the fridge.
Interestingly, when placed on the vet’s table, the hamster perked right up and was wandering around eating and drinking as normal.

It was then that the vet noticed that there was something in his cheek pouch. So they had a look and it turns out that the face was stuffed with a fridge magnet!
It turns out that the magnet in his cheek had "stuck" the hamster to his metal cage making it impossible for him to move anywhere.
Twitter user Kat posted the texts to Twitter, captioning them: "I am not ok."
Her tweet quickly went viral, attracting more than 100,000 retweets and 216,476 likes.
