Bosnian footballer loses a testicle due to kick in the groin during rough tackle

Football like a lot of other outdoor games exposes players to several injuries and accidents on the field. While players soon recover after being seriously hurt during games, sometimes a rough game can cost a lot more.

In a painful moment captured on camera, FC Zrinjski Mostar’s Bosnian right-back Marin Galic was hit by a vicious tackle from a defender. The defender reached up with his right foot and kicked Galic right between his legs after failing to retrieve the ball.

Galic can be seen taken off the field by the referee after collapsing on the field, but the kick in the groin led to grave consequences. Local media reported that it left Marin Galic with just one testicle, as one had to be surgically removed.
