Who doesn't like to hum to a round of Karaoke? Here is an opportunity for everyone to give a shot at rocking on stage at the first ever Karaoke night in Thiruvananthapuram. This is an open mic event and will be held at the Streat restaurant on July 8 from 6.30 to 11 pm.
Vignesh, one of the organisers of the event says, "We have been coming across band performances and professional singers everywhere. But this is an open mic platform for singers. There are no entry charges for the event; however, those who wish to perform must register beforehand. Those planning to sing must give the list of songs they will be performing."
More than 40 singers have already registered for the event. "We are hoping to feature six to seven singers per hour. There are no language barriers for song selection either. We have also planned a few fun events in between and a slot from 8 to 9.30 pm we will be featuring few professional singers."
The singer will be informed beforehand in case of song repetition. Speaking about the criteria for performers Vignesh says, "We have asked for a small bio of those who are performing.
