Masturbation or napping: What works at work?

There are many who are sleep deprived and prefer mid-day nap during office hours. But did you know that there are people who prefer masturbating and not napping to feel refreshed? There are real-life instances, where people have shared that they have masturbated at work. They were astonished to find that post-orgasm, they felt much more relaxed and it was easier for them to concentrate at work. However, the intriguing thing, which demands our attention, is the logic behind people preferring to masturbate than napping. Is there any science associated or just an excuse to justify this lust-thirst.

Numerous research and studies have proven that napping can be beneficial in several ways, one of the common ones being – elevates our reaction time. A study conducted in 2003 showed that a man performed better in logistical tests after a nap. On similar lines, studies were conducted linking to masturbation and brain function. Masturbation has the same effect as that of napping or can be even more enriching. Austin based psychotherapist and sex coach, Carlos Cavazos suggested masturbation can enhance psychological and physiological well-being.

There are various benefits of performing masturbation; it aides in improving sleep, reduce stress, increasing sex drive, helps to snap out of borderline depression and most importantly, helps in the release of happy hormones like dopamine and oxytocin. It immediately makes you feel refreshed and uplifted. In men, masturbation lowers the risk of prostate cancer and chances of cerebral attack and makes then markedly less cranky.

Now the most important question – is napping better or masturbation? In other words, can you try midday masturbation instead of napping? There are numerous reasons why one should try masturbation. Release of prolactin in the brain, leaves you feeling less stressed and help in tackling better the relentless demands of clients at work. For those seeking instant gratification and immediate ease from stress, masturbation is the solution. Napping in the office setup might not be always conducive, due to various external disturbing factors. Masturbation or napping – in both the cases you want to feel relaxed.

In a survey conducted in 2015 by the Times Out New York, it was found that 39 per cent of the participants has masturbated in office. So practising self-love during office hours, in-office is absolutely acceptable. A nap will also make you feel energised but nap takes longer than masturbation. So if you feel relaxed in 20 minutes then why not masturbate!
