Mumbai: Countless couples are trying to figure out if watching porn is affecting their love life. While there are many who feel that pornography is taking a toll on their sex life, others believe that it helps to enhance their sexual experience. On the other hand, there are a few people who don’t prefer watching it altogether.
We spoke to our readers about how porn affects their sex lives in good and bad ways.
One of the person shared, “The men I have been with have tried introducing what they have seen in porn in the bedroom,” while other said that she and her husband watch porn together and it spices up their sex life.

- Boosts your performance:
“Before going to bed, I always watch short porn clips on my phone. My girl doesn’t know about it, but frankly it boosts my performance in bed,” says Prashant Sethi.
- Porn leads to sexpectations:
“Porn ruined my last relationship, I still regret it. Now I have these sexpectations that I want after watching porn and it will never happen,” explains Kevin. “I think I want exactly what I see in porn,” he adds.
- Couple who watch porn together:
“My husband used to watch porn and I knew about it. I gave it a try and started to like it. So now once in a week we watch it together. It spices up our sex life,” reveals Shresta Nayak (grinning).
- Bad experience:
“Even though I have been particular about not being influenced by porn, the men I have been with have tried introducing what they have seen in porn in the bedroom, and it has not ended well for me. It has ruined sex for me quite a number of times,” Pankaj complained.

“I feel it’s healthy. I am not addicted to it but I do watch videos when my girlfriend is out of town. She knows about it, in fact at times she has sent me few links to watch as well,” says Ronny.
- Realistic couple!
“I and my boyfriend at times watch porn together then we discuss what we liked and what we didn’t and give it a try,” Shamita shared.
- Never affected:
“Watching porn has never affected my sex life in any manner because at the end it’s someone else doing it. In reality it involves a lot of passion and emotion when you are making love to someone,” shares Apoorv.
- Confidence:
“It’s been so good for me. I actually feel more confident in doing it and get more creative and experimental while I have sex with my partner,” exclaims Karan (name changed).
- Helps to last longer:
“There are times when I watch it before going on a date and when we do it. The images of what I watched help me to last longer,” reveals Prathamesh.
- False hope:
“It is more like a stress buster for me but honestly gives you false hopes,” says Preeti.
