Walkathon for Karnataka public transport

KSRTC took up the initiative to increase use of public transport.

Bengaluru: KSRTC had organised a walkathon at Nandi Hills to encourage and promote public transport to reduce pollution and congestion on the hill route. KSRTC took up the initiative to increase use of public transport, and a team led by KSRTC Managing Director Rajender Kumar Kataria, along with around 35 members from Reebok Runners Squad and environment enthusiasts, left by KSRTC bus at 4.30 am from Lalbagh main gate and reached Nandi Hills and ran and walked around 10 km from the foothills to Nandi hilltop to spread the message of protecting environment and promoting public transport.
