Hyderabad: A 10-month-old child from Bibinagar died of swine flu and nine more cases have been confirmed in the state, taking the total to 55 cases in January.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali was at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science’s out-patient department on Friday complaining of cough, cold and fever, symptoms of the disease.
Health officials say his blood samples have been sent to the Institute of Preventive Medicine for testing “but there is no confirmation that he is suffering from swine flu as of now.” He was advised rest, fluid intake and isolation.
