Sea & tell @ Koh Samui

Author Bhaavna Arora shares her experience from a recent trip to Koh Samui.

Aroi mak mak (delicious food) Koh Samui is a place for seafood lovers. I’m one of them and I loved the lobsters, tiger prawns, oysters, octopus, snails, salmon and sushi. Slurp!

Suay suay gawl (very pretty island). The beaches are pristine with clear blue water. The natural beauty of the island is a treat to the eyes.

Adventure sports: One can try their hands from kayaking to snorkeling or scuba diving to paragliding to ATV to skydiving to jungle safari to surfing to just living an adventure. I tried my hands on most.

Shopping: A flea market called Walking Street is quite famous and you can get a variety of stuff for hardly a sum. I filled up my suitcase.

Stay: The resorts are beautiful. I stayed at the Banyan tree villa that was beautifully done with a private pool and a picturesque view. The resort had two famous restaurants. One Italian at the beach and other Thai on a mountain and the food and hospitality were excellent.
