Jacqueline Kennedy inspires Melania Trump?

Melania Trump's outfit at the inauguration Day was very similar to what former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy had sported.

After several designers, including Tom Ford refusing to dress Melania Trump for the Inauguration Day, many were curious on what the new First Lady would chose to wear. So naturally, during Donald Trumps’s Inauguration Day at the Washington Convention Center on Friday night, all eyes were on Melania Trump.

For her daytime look, impressing everyone, Melania decided to wear a Ralph Lauren blue jacket and cashmere dress, which was very similar to what Jacqueline Kennedy, the former First Lady, wore when John F. Kennedy was sworn into office. Incidentally, Melania had previously admitted that Jacqueline was her role model and looks like she meant it.

While the President opted for a traditional tuxedo for the inaugural ball, Melania wore the dress she co-created with designer Herve Pierre, who worked with the renowned fashion designer Carolina Herrera. However, she sported minimal accessories and left her hair in a loose undo.

Melania looked stunning at the ball in a cream, off-the-shoulder dress with a thing-high slit and a red silk ribbon near her waist.

The 46-year-old’s style was appreciated by many fashion watchers across the world. Pierre, who has earlier dressed Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, said that it was a honour to dress the new First Lady.
